Nuestras Historias: Latin@s in the Arts kicked off the 30th Regional Arts Training Workshop in San Antonio, TX. This event was held at the San Antonio Public Library – Central Library in the future Latino Studies Collection space on April 28, 2016. Speakers for the evening included Antonia Castaneda, Isabel Ann Castro (St. Sucia Zine), Anel Flores, Joey Lopez (Convergent Media Collective), Daniela Riojas, Alex Rubio, Agustina Woodgate, and Tomas Ybarra-Frausto. In the first video, NALAC Executive Director, Maria Lopez De Leon, introduces the evening and a presentation of the 2015 NALAC Fund for the Arts San Antonio Artist grantees with Councilmember Shirley Gonzalez and DCCD Interim Director Debbie Racca-Sittre.
